How can McDonalds measure the performance of their employees?
Lots of different ways. I am assuming you are talking about at the restaurants (not in the corporate offices). For example, they measure time for an order to be taken and processed at the drive-thru. They measure time and accuracy of orders at the counter. They measure cleanliness, freshness of food, profitability of restaurant. They measure employee attendance, sick time, accidents, injuries. McDonalds has a huge policies and procedures manual and just about everything in it has some standard against which performance is measured.
