How can Malcolm Baldrige and/or ISO 9000 it impact our company?
If a company honestly implements aspects of these structured approaches, significant changes are achieved tactically, strategically, and financially. Historically, Baldrige awards recipients out-perform the S & P by approximately 4 to 1. Additionally, they are leaders in their respective business fields. Companies that have earned ISO 9000 certification have also outperformed their competition, thereby positioning the company/organization for business success. The power of each/either system is planning, implementation, adjustment, and discipline. These elements help lead to consistency and integrated, repeatable business systems.
