After analysis of statewide ABE performance data, PAWG recommended (and ACLS accepted) performance standards that are based on the state averages in four areas of performance (the fifth, student goals, is in pilot). Further analysis of data revealed that a majority of ABE funded programs (representative of a diversity of program types and student populations) currently meet and exceed the adopted performance standards.
