Our designs are usually drawn to show the spacing that plants might have in 5-10 years. So you will see a drawing that can show shrubs beginning to touch each other, and trees at about 12-15′ wide. Some trees shade trees will of course get wider but it gives you a good feeling for how the project will grow together, and whether or not you think it will be overgrown. We too are interested in having your landscape look sharp for the long haul.
