How can IEP Results be used for school improvement purposes?
Examination of the student’s IEP reading and math goals and the results achieved after a year’s work on those goals, will help the teacher and service provider determine if the student is on track to become proficient in these areas. Analysis of results may indicate if a student should be considered for exit from services in that goal area, or if it is determined that the student needs to continue work in that goal area, the information is used in designing the goal for the coming year.
