How can I write an effective vision and mission statement?
Think of a vision statement as describing how you want your school/office to be, your expectations, your dreams for your school/office. A mission statement is a refinement of that vision and describes the steps on how to achieve it. Vision and mission statements are best written with input from groups who would be involved in realizing the school’s vision and mission.
