How can i write a funny wedding invitation?
I don’t necessarily agree with everyone else. Perhaps a fun invitation, if funny isn’t appropriate. I see nothing wrong with a little humor, even in very serious situations. Just because they want a funny invitation doesn’t mean they aren’t serious about the marriage. Think along the lines of fun ways to saying “getting married” (“gettin’ hitched”, “takin’ the plunge”, “tying the knot”). If you can somehow connect it to their theme or venue, that might also be fun (for example, we’re getting married at the zoo, and there were lots of fun invitation ideas, though we ended up with a traditional one). Do they share a hobby or interest that you could play off of? Even if you end up with more traditional wording, perhaps the design could be fun? Maybe use fun ink stamps around the border, or funky paper.
