How can I work with aluminum powder (uncoated) safely?
This material is a REACTIVE FLAMMABLE solid and a DUST EXPLOSION HAZARD. Before handling, it is extremely important that engineering controls are operating and that protective equipment requirements and personal hygiene measures are being followed. People working with this chemical should be properly trained regarding its hazards and its safe use. Absolutely no contact with incompatible materials such as water, strong acids, strong bases and oxidizing agents. Eliminate ignition sources. Keep away from heat.
