How can I wipe email data from my iPhone in case it gets stolen?
Your iPhone contains a lot of personal information: Calendars, phone numbers, SMS, email, and other valuable data. As a first step, we recommend setting a passcode code on your iPhone that will ask for a PIN when you haven’t used your iPhone for a while. This can be set up in “Settings” > “General” > “Passcode Lock”. You should do this even if you don’t use reMail. If your device gets stolen, you can use Mobile Me Remote Wipe to remotely wipe your device and reset it to factory settings. This will also remove all of reMail’s information. You can find instructions here.
