• According to physicians who use natural progesterone in their practices, the instructions are as follows: 1st Month: Use crme as directed. Take synthetic estrogen pill every other day or cut estrogen patch in half. 2nd Month: Use crme as directed. Take synthetic estrogen pill every third day or cut estrogen patch in quarters 3rd Month: Use crme as directed. Take synthetic estrogen pill every fourth day. If using the patch, go totally off it. 4th Month: Use crme as directed. Off all synthetic hormones. While weaning do not take breaks in using the crme.
