How Can I Watch A Full-Length French Film Without Subtitles And Understand It?
Well, there is a French movie I remember watching in elementary school MANY years ago that this would work. It was call The Red Balloon, and there was no dialogue. It was the story of a little boy and this amazing red balloon that follows him everywhere. You understood it completely with no dialogue, and no subtitles. The other option that I can think of would be to go with a friend who speaks French and can explain to you or translate what is going on. But that would get to be kind of a pain and annoying to any other people that were trying to watch the movie, and you probably wouldn’t get the full scope of the story that way. Not recommended.
