How can I view topographic maps and orthophotos?
The topographic maps and the orthophotos are now on the internet. You can download these files by town from the DEP GIS website. Be sure to make note of the folder to which you download these files since you will need to navigate to that folder when you add these files in ArcExplorer. These files are all in a MrSid format and all have a file extension of “.sid”. Remember that to add files, click on the Add Theme button in ArcExplorer.
