Here is another tip to verify that the favicon is where it should be: Load this page: www.your-domain.com/favicon.ico Of course, substitute the name of your domain for “your-domain.com.” For example, loading this file on this site . . . www.make-a-favicon.com/favicon.ico . . . shows the favicon. It will be enlarged and more grainy than it actually is, but at least you will know that the favicon is where it should be.
