How can I use the web to collect, edit, and/or publish society meeting abstracts?
[Return to top] Allowing your members to register for your meeting and to submit their abstracts online can save time and money. Allen Press has developed a system to do this. It uses HTML forms and a database to allow your authors to submit their meeting abstracts on the web, your editor to edit those abstracts online, and your reviewers to review and rate or assign values to those same abstracts. Plus we can gather other kinds of information about your conference attendees and their abstracts, such as the kind of presentation and subject category. Finally we can output this material for printing and/or return it to you in a standard database form. Check out a demo of this system here.
