How can I use RealPlayer in combination with skyDSL?
You will need to change a few settings in order to be able to use the RealPlayer in combination with skyDSL. In the RealPlayer select the item “Extras” and “Settings”. Select the “Proxy” item under the “Link” category. Under “Data stream settings”, click the “Change settings…” button. In the section “PNA and RTSP proxies”, click “Use proxies” and enter the local proxy address “127.0.0.1” in both entry fields. There is no need to change the port entry. In the “HTTP proxy” section click “Use proxy” and enter the IP address 127.0.0.1 and port 8080. Finally confirm all entries by clicking “OK” before exiting the RealPlayer. These settings will provide faster reception of data. If you now activate skyDSL and open the RealPlayer, content will be downloaded via skyDSL.
