Metaframe is a server-based software solution that extends the range of interactive applications to the Internet. Meridian and Citrix recommend that to enable Citrix to run across your firewall, Port 1494 for TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) needs to be open only for traffic initiated from the client’s side.
