How can I use paypal to collect payments, than email whats the customers buys. Would I need autoresponder?
Hi Angelheart. The best way to do what you want is with an autoresponder. The way I have several of my websites set up is I have my payment processor (PayPal, AlertPay, etc.) forward them to a registration page on my site before sending them to the download page. In order to reach the download page, they need to submit a name and email address on the registration page. Once they have done that, they are told to check their email for the download link. The download link is also a confirmation that they want to be on my mailing list. You want to be sure to be sure to capture this information because it allows you to market to these people over and over again. It’s quite easy to set up and if you use Aweber, they even have training videos that show you how to do it. Aweber is also the most reliable autoresponder service available. 1. You will need to have a page where people make payments. I recommend using Global for your domain, since it allows you to tinker with deep settings. I have a number of websites and those with Global have higher search engine rankings. Globally accessible web pages. http://website.ws/index.dhtml?sponsor=ro… 2. You will need to setup where the people that leave their email on your site (before, or during purchase), will then be managed by autoresponder. – you will need to tinker with both website and aweber. 3. This is the autoresponder I recommend: www.aweber.com/?romka2x They have great live customer support and a very easy to use interface. They actually guide you through the steps you need to take in order to set this up. I can help you more, but I’m afraid even this much information will get me in trouble with Y! Answers. It is generally frowned upon when someone comes here with actual offers.
