How can I use CorrView ® if I can shut down my piping system to install it?
A. An on-line insertion model that can be installed with the system live is currently in design and will be available at a later date. However, other options exist. While it may be difficult to drain a large piping system in order to install CorrView ® into the main risers, smaller take-off lines to the chillers, towers, pumps, and other distribution lines, can often be isolated for short periods of time for such modification. This provides the opportunity to install CorrView ® at most locations, and will often produce more useful information due to the greater number of problems which typically show at smaller and more remotely located areas to the main piping.
