How can I upload Gradebook data into Blackboard?
. When uploading data, the user will be able to upload one column at a time. You can upload data created in Excel. To upload a column: • Open the Excel file containing the grades you wish to upload • From the menu bar, select File , Save As • Save the file as a CSV file (click the down arrow after File Type and select CSV ) • Access the course, then • Go to the Control Panel • Under Assessment, Click Gradebook • Click Upload Grades • Browse for the upload file • Select file and Submit • Under Choose Imported Item, select the column wish to upload • Under Choose Existing Item, select the column currently in the Blackboard gradebook where the uploaded data will go (If a column does not exist, select the last radio button, Create New Gradebook Item) • You will be prompted to name the new column and assign points • Select the students whose grades should be uploaded.
