How can I upgrade from a State D, to a National D License?

Coaches who receive a State D License must have their license for a minimum of 6 months before they can attempt to upgrade to a National D License. There are two ways to upgrade. The first method is to attend the second Saturday and Sunday of a standard D License Course.The second weekend will consist of a practice coaching session and a final field exam. The second method is to attend a D License Re-Test Course. Retest courses begin on a Saturday morning with a classroom review session. Field exams will begin after the lecture. Coaches will receive their field testing topic via e-mail. Re-Test sites will be typically held in the fall and spring. Re-Test Sites will be centrally located.
