Overview Uninstalling a Windows Service Pack has been made very easy through the Control Panel. While uninstalling may take away applications and security updates, the uninstall is fairly easy, and Windows will walk you through the entire process once you have found the uninstall point. This method is normally used when the Service Pack needs to be re-installed due to improper installing or a bug in the program.
