How can I turn normal 9mm bullets into armor piercing?
get back on the xbox kid *and in the future have some common sense when typing a “hypothetical idea”, it has already pointed out that steel has a much high melting point then lead. how about some 416 bar stock turned on a lathe, or coating the bullet in tungsten carbide, have a bigger imagination then just saying dip it in steel! FYI, coating bullets in teflon was a common practice to reduce barrel wear when firing AP rounds with either a steel or brass jacket, until the MSM got a hold on it in ’82 and now in popular culture teflon is synonymous with armor piercing, even though teflon does nothing to aid in penetration.
