It could be alot of things wrong with him. I will assume he doesn’t have any signs of being “sick” such as pink sores on him or ratty looking fins/tail? Cause if he has that sort of thing it could be a bacteria infection. It could aslo be age. Or if there is a problem with the water, have you checked the pH? Often the Upsidedown Catfish likes fairly neutral pH, but if you have him with friendly little Tetras they tend to like the pH a little higher, and golfish like it a little low. Is your heater working also? I know I asked alot of questions but most of these questions will have a logical answer.
