How can I transition my baby from a bottle to a sippy cup easier?

Lots of practice. With my first child, I read a lot of things about it. They said to put the sippy cup in the tub with them. The sippy floats and it’s supposed to be easier somehow for them to play with and get the hang of because of the buoyancy of the cup. Another suggestion was to put two ice cubes in with the drink so that it makes the rattle sound which gets their attention. They are curious about it. As they chase it and get it, it rattles. The day after my child’s first birthday I packed up all the bottles in the house. I was a first time mom and read in a book that they shouldn’t have the bottle after One. So I put them all away. The baby wasn’t old enough to tell me no. So off they went and never returned. We never had an issue. For a bit there I think I used a straw sippy cup when my child had some difficulty with the sippy. After being able to hold the straw cup, I moved back to the sippy and ta-dah no problems!!
