How Can I Transfer My Old Home Movies To The DVD Quickly?
Transfer My DVD advertises, “Watch all of your movie files on your iPod® and enjoy them wherever you go. Provide yourself hours of entertainment with your entire movie collection on your iPod.” This claim turns out to be patently false. Transfer My DVD can only transfer movies that are NOT copyrighted. It rejected DVD after DVD, asking me to please put in a disc that wasn’t copyrighted. Of course, my entire movie collection is copyrighted. In order to transfer a commercial movie DVD, one has to first download free software called DVD decrypter. Once that program converts a copyrighted movie into files without copyright protection, Transfer My DVD was able to convert those files into an iPod compatible format. However, the quality was extremely poor and it took an unbearably long time. I got much better and faster results with clear picture and sound using (again) free software called Handbrake.
