How can i train to get faster in the 800 run???
You don’t have time to train or to have any effect on your conditioning or speed. What you can do since you want to drop 2 seconds is control your pace. It is important to run even. Do not go out too fast or too slow. Try to come through the first 400 in 64 seconds, run the third 200 hard so you can maintain that pace. It is always easier to run the last 200 than the third 200. Even though this is your first year you should know how it feels to run 32 second 200. Do not get caught up in the rush at the start. Keep your composure and run your race. If you go out too fast say 28 for the first 200 you are a dead duck.
