How can I temporarily fix a roof leak?
Just as a temporary work put some strong (liquid)glue through the passage of the leak from at top face of the roof.The roof should be dry while applying the glue & pour sufficient quantity of glue so that some portion penetrates into the crack and the remaining are spread ed by the surroundings of the crack.Yes I am talking of a reinforced concrete roof.This is absolutely temporary method.If it is other than concrete roof,you can use bitumen mat,some ready made putty etc.For immediate stoppage of the annoying sound,put some heavy cloth into your bowl,the cloth will absorb the sound.
