How can I tell which probiotic bacteria are best for me?
It is always best to request scientific references for the specific bacteria included in a product. Do be certain the references cite the exact strains indicated on the label! The only safe and acceptable strains are those that are thoroughly researched, well documented human strains. It is also important to make sure each is probiotic is listed by its Latin name (two words in italics) and by a strain designation.
