How can I tell Im ovulating when on clomiphene?
You really should be making sure that the dose of clomid is successfully making you ovulate. The best way is to track basal body temperature (see www.fertilityfriend.com for a free online charting course) or your doctor should be either 1) monitoring your follicles via ultrasound or 2) getting 21 day serum progesterone tests. If your doctor has no follow-up planned for a while, I would definitely track the BBT on your own. You don’t want to be taking clomiphene without knowing if it is actually working. Good luck!!! EDIT: Oh! If you want to be able to predict your ovulation better, then I would use ovulation predictor kits (OPKs- buy in any convenience store). For people with PCOS they are sometimes not very helpful because you don’t know when or if you are ovulating, in which case you would use BBT to confirm ovulation. In your case, you could still do the BBT if you wanted, but since the progesterone tests are showing that the clomid is working and you are ovulating, OPKs should work
