How can I tell if the computer or the printer is causing a print quality problem?
You can print a nozzle check pattern to determine whether the print quality problem is caused by the Epson Stylus CX7400 Series itself or some other source. If the nozzle check pattern prints with no gaps or missing sections, the problem is probably caused by your software settings, the interface cable, or your computer. If the nozzle check pattern prints, but has gaps or missing sections, try cleaning the print head nozzles.
