How can I tell If my Toy Poodle is Pregnant ?
A vet can help tell if she is pregnant. They can do it by 3 ways X-ray at 55 days into the pregnancy Ultrasound after 3 weeks and palpation after 4 weeks Dogs are pregnant on average for 63 days. Without going to the vet theres not many way to tell. Some dogs nipples will enlarge closer to giving birth (my dogs’ didn’t). Up to a week before you may start to notice their belly get bigger and they may become lethargic. And some dogs will increase their eating and other will decrease up to a week before…An increase is good b/c you want to be feeding them a high quilaty puppy food starting 4 weeks into the pregnancy.
