How can I tell if my Spellex spell checker installed correctly?
In order to determine whether Spellex was installed successfully, we provide a test document called Speltest. This test document contains a sample list of words that are included in the Spellex enhanced spell checking dictionary. The Speltest list contains words misspelled on purpose to verify that the speller gives correct suggestions. If the spell checker stops on the marked words and gives correct suggestions, then Spellex was installed successfully. In Windows you can access the Speltest document from the installation disk or by clicking on the Start button (located at the lower left corner of the screen) and then choosing Programs>Spellex>Speltest. If you are using Spellex on a Mac, you can access the document from the installation disk or by looking in the same location as your new dictionary file.
