How can I tell if my family is letting my Anti Virus and Anti Spyware software update and scan?
Double-click the Anti Virus and Anti Spyware icons on your desktop and open each program. Then, look for a statistics area. It should show the date of the last update as well as the last time the software scanned your computer. If the date listed is not within the last week to ten days, then someone is not allowing the software to update or scan. Be advised, most computer problems are caused by the user, either because some improper action was taken or because no action was taken when one was needed.
