How can I tell if my dog has ear mites?
Detecting ear mites is easy. Your veterinarian may find the mites by looking in your pets ear with an otoscope or by swabbing the ear and checking for live mites under a microscope. At home, you can place a piece of the dogs ear wax on a piece of paper under a bright light and look for any tiny white specks that appear to be moving.
