How can i tell if my cat is going into labor?
My cat had 4 beautiful kittens yesterday! There wasn’t one distinct thing that led me to think she was in labor unfortunately. Other than the typical signs such as nesting, the large, pink nipples, and milk discharge, I didn’t notice anything different. I will tell you, though, that right before she went into labor she would not leave my side. She climbed up in my bed and laid right next to me. Then she started making small noises, almost like whimpering, and soon after that, you could visibly see her stomach contracting. I’m not sure if that’s how it is with every cat, but that’s what I’ve experienced. Hope it helps!!
