How can I tell if I successfully built and installed netCDF?
We make build output from various platforms available for comparison with your output. In general, you can ignore compiler warnings if the “make test” step is successful. Lines that begin with “***” in the “make test” output indicate results from tests. The C and Fortran-77 interfaces are tested extensively, but only rudimentary tests are currently used for the C++ and Fortran-90 interfaces.
