How can I tell if a graphite shaft is too flexible for my swing?
Two things, the ball always goes to the right: resulting from you bending the shaft too much the club face can’t come back at squre position at impact, as your hand will be too fast for the flex if you swing through. Sometime, it surprises me should this happens, and I hesitate a little, causing my swing to jerk and the club face close much too early, and the ball goes duck hook to the left. Try video your swing, if when you initiate your down swing and you see your shaft arh like a bow, it’s too soft.
