How can i teach my puppy to sit and lie down without treats?
you have to slowley reduce the food treats, what i do is once they can do it each time for the food, only treat them with food every other time and use ony praise the other times, let them still see thay you have food so that they do it and just give them a fuss. once they are doing it evert time than reduce it again but vaire how often they get the food, for example only treat eact 3rd time than 2nd tie then 4th time, that way they wont think ‘i only get food the 3rd time she asks so ill only do it on the 3rd time’. try to make the fuss better than the food, use higher pithed voice and lots of praise and stroking.
