Has sucking up to any one ever gotten you what you wanted? Falsifying your records is the quickest way to destroy any professional credibility you might have had. Laser surgery on your eyes will be quite acceptable to NASA, because you will not need to wear glasses or contacts. Plan on getting at least a master’s degree in a field you find fascinating and are passionate about. IF you are majoring in a particular field just because you think you will be paid a lot more just because you majored in that particular area, like engineering or petroleum geology, without being interested in the subject itself, that is as big a lie to yourself as falsifying your records would be to NASA. You don’t suck up to become an astronaut. You can’t falsify past documents to pass an eye test. Laser surgery is permissible. The requirements are clearly spelled out at http://nasajobs.nasa.gov/astronauts/defa… And, given the size of the Astronaut Corps and how many serious applicants there are I’m betting a suck-up won’t pass muster…
