How can I study Ayurveda in India, how much would it cost?
There are several Ayurveda colleges in India offering a five-and-half-year program leading to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree. Some of these colleges also offer a three-year doctoral program, M. D. Ayurveda, after BAMS. Some colleges have a few reserved seats for foreign students. Theseprograms is usually english or any regional one, it becomes difficult for a foreign student to understand. And moreover since none of these degrees would be of any job-related use back home, it is prudent to go for a comprehensive Ayurvedic learning program in the English language.
