How can I stop the console information from scrolling on screen while Im playing Quake 3 or Jedi Academy?

If you are playing Quake 3, press the tilde key ~ to drop down the console and type in this command: /con_notifytime -1 When set to -1, this prevents all console messages from appearing on-screen. When set to anything higher, it sets the amount of time that console log lines appear on-screen.
