You can’t. Birth control pills can make it shorter, but they won’t help with your current period.

cant stop a period once you are on it – all you can do is delay periods with a pill from drs BEFORE you come on

i used to suffere with severe heavy periods and painfull also loose clots like liver so i went to see my gp and he put me on northisterone tablets 5mg i take 1 a day and havent had a period for 8 months its great my advice would be to speak to him or her about this medication its so good i swear by it

You’re on it now, you can’t do anything about it. Certain birth control methods lighten the flows, regulate them and sometimes stop them altogether. There’s also a surgical option to lighten the flow or stop it completely, but should only be considered if you don’t want to have children.
