How can i stop my period or make it shorter. its started today and i want it stop.?
If you’re on birth control, depending on which type of birth control you’re on, you may be able to skip your period entirely. Not this time around, but in the future. The last week of pills, the inactive ones – skip that week and go straight to the next pack and you’ll skip your little friend that time around. The thing is that you should check with your doctor before doing it. Not because it’s dangerous or anything, but certain types of BC pills don’t allow for that. A friend of mine has skipped hers a few times through that method but when I tried it my cycle was messed up for a couple of months. Good luck!
I’m afraid you’re stuck with this one, but now is the time to act if you want to stop it in future. Get along to your local GP or well woman clinic and have a chat with the experts there. Depo injections and hormone implants stop periods altogether (but weight gain is often a side effect) the pill can be taken one pack after another and I’ve been informed by my GP that you can do this several times, in fact you only need the 7 day break 3-4 times per year! (apparently the 7 day break was introduced as a confidence thing as a lot of women genuinely feel worried if they have no period at all and as a pregnancy checker!!
go on the pill, if you go on microgynon then you have a seven day break from the pill each month, which in turn makes your period come on, but if you are on holiday or something special and you could realoly do without it, then you can carry straight on to the next packet which usually stops the period from starting. But you should only do it once in a while, as you are meant to have the break on this pill. There are other pills, and I am not sure if there is one that does stop the periods all together. Check with your doctor. As for stopping it right now, sorry, I don’t know, I don’t think you can, you will just have to put up with it.
If you start birth control today I’d say in 2 days you will be done with it. I actually just started doing that yesterday cause in October I will be married and I don’t want to be on it on my wedding night or honeymoon so I took one yesterday to stop it and today It is very light almost gone. Iam not married I know nothing of that subject dear sorry for not answering you but my mom used to take pills more than one to stop it so that you could enjoy your weekend I hope that you will have it as nice as you want go and just stop that boring period by pills don’t miss the good time that is waiting for you Good luck but take care of your body and your health
