How can i start my own GED preparation program?
In some states, like Arizona, adult probation departments may be associated with an AOC (corrections unit) or LEARN adult education program. Make sure you are not copying another program that could use your support and help making their program even more successful. That being said, many substance abuse residential programs would welcome someone coming in, with books, computers and software to tutor adult learners and help them reach the goal of successfully testing for their high school equivilency diploma via the GED exam. I would make sure I was familiar with the TABE testing procedures, GED practice tests, scoring procedures and such before moving ahead. If you have not, volunteer with another lab to learn what to do. You should have your adult education certificate as well. Good luck.
