How can i start a small pleasure ship/ cruise business?
find a company that OWNS that type of boat, find out the costs to rent it for a certain type of trip (where you will actually be taking them) and then plan some kind trip – for EACH TRIP – figure out how many people you need to break even and how much to charge per person (plan on half capacity to cover all actual boat costs ,plus your wage for the day/week, plus – all extras is profit) and if you don’t have the ability to be a taking tour guide, figure in the cost of paying for one weeks or month’s worth of advertising/brochures you may need a bit of money up front for advertising, brochures at tourist kiosks, paying the boat company if you don’t sell enough tickets to beak even,etc do a lot of research – especially costs, check out competition, and prices and write a business plan
