How can I speed up the Performance Management displays within InfoVista?
The graphical displays of performance management data within InfoVista are rendered through Java, which is memory intensive. You can improve performance by either increasing the memory on your PC or limiting the number of other concurrent processes that you are running. If you access performance data regularly, then at least 1G of RAM is recommended. Other minor improvements may be obtained by switching browsers—Netscape from our experiece performs better than Internet Explorer.
