How can I simply whiten my clothes without changing detergent?
I use a little arm-in hammer washing soda in my laundry. You can add it to colors too. It gives your laundry detergent a little boost. Also I add some borax both make for cleaner laundry and whiter whites. Neither will harm colors. They are great cleaners to have around the house in general. I use them as a carpet deodorizer, add them to my dish water, to clean counters and floors. They are really multi purpose.
