How can I set the position of page numbers to be different for left and right pages?

A. To Attach page numbers to a range or all pages: highlight the text frame with the page number insert. Go under Frame menu to Attributes and specify to attach to All pages. If you want page numbers to begin on page 2 and run through the rest of the document, set the parameters to show on All Page 2 through 0. If you want right pages numbers to be positioned differently than left page numbers, then put an X beside Use Right Page Positioning in Attributes under the Frame menu while the page number text frame is highlighted and adjust accordingly. You can simply drag the frame of right pages while in page view or enter numbers in the H and V box for Right Page Alignment and Position. Remember that a positive number in the H box will move the frame to the right and a negative number in the V box will move the frame down. You can also simply set it to align to the left, center or right margin.
