How can I see which cases have missing values (in Stata)?
If you use the edit command in Stata, it brings up the data spreadsheet that show the cases and their values for each variable. Any missing values will be denoted by a period “.”. If you want a summary of how many cases are missing data for a particular variable, you can type codebook. This will give you information about the data represented by each variable, including the number of missing cases.
