How can i see my total armor in guild wars?
Hi! Sounds like you are a little confused on how armor and weapons work in the Guild Wars game. For a general discussion of GW armor, you might want to check the wiki page: http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Armor You can see your armor and check its attributes by typing ‘I’ on your keyboard (with the chat window closed). That should bring up a window that shows you, your weapon, your offhand (possibly a shield), and each piece of armor you are wearing. By rolling your cursor arrow over each item you can check its attributes. For instance, I have a lvl 20 Necromancer who’s armor pieces each have a ’60’ rating, which is the maximum a Necromancer can get. Armor can also have other benefits, such as extra energy or attribute bonuses. It can also be upgraded with Runes and Insignias, but don’t worry about that to start with. A shield will add armor points but a higher level Necromancer does not usually use a shield. Shields ar
Armor doesn’t work like that. First of all, weapons don’t give you armor, shields and armor give you armor. Secondly, there is no “total armor” really. When an enemy attacks you, he will attack a random piece of armor (this applys to attacks, spells always hit the chest). Certain pieces of armor have more chance of getting hit than others (e.g. the hit rate on the chest is much higher than the head). So, if you have 60 armor on the chest and 10 on the head, the game will calculate the 10 only when you get hit in the head and the 60 only when you get hit in the chest. Shields are different; the armor from shields applies everywhere. So, if you have a 5 armor shield, 10 armor head, and 60 armor chest piece and the enemy hits you in the head, the game calculates 15 armor. Concerning what type of weapon to bring: casters usually bring staffs or wand/focus sets. It helps with energy and spell recharge and casters stay back while the melee tanks damage for them so they don’t really even need
